I think you captured the action nicely, but the colour can be drastically improved.

If you have photoshop (if you don't check out the free GIMP program), try either increasing the contrast to get a more dramatic look or lighting adjusting the hue/saturation to get a nicer colour in the water.

The grey is not very visually appealing and is easily fixed with some tweaking. :)
